All here now... and what happened

Lillian and I had an uneventful flight - a smoother-than-usual landing at Narita (an auspicious beginning) and we got to the TEAM Center at Mitaka without incident, except I rushed her too much to catch the Narita Express, triggering her asthma.

Rob was already here, and Carol and Sylvia got here around 6pm. There was a joyful reunion. We got some take-out food from the "Family Mart" around the corner: oden and a couple of bento-to-go and a little inari sushi.

The ministry-before-the-ministry went well. Sylvia spent the night at the home of our pastor from the Kobe Bible Fellowship. The pastor is out of town, and Sylvia's fellowship was a special blessing to the pastor's wife. She also had a good time with M-san... as did Carol.

M-san's extended family has been struggling with significant health and marital issues, and she is now eager to learn more about Jesus. She's signing up for a Bible study with some Christians that Carol introduced her to. Not only that, but she wants to encourage T-san to come, too!

Speaking of T-san, she told Carol that she just doesn't know what to believe anymore, questioning her cultural values as well as her religion. Thanks for praying! Please keep it up!
